A brief intro - 

Chris McCartney - "songwriter extraordinaire" as described by the globally renowned Rolling Stoned magazine 

 Since I never joined a band - Or involved myself in "showbiz", this little website is my way of getting my songs heard .. that's all. 

 This webpage highlights my first album of songs titled "Glasgow Town". Please take a listen. 

 My songs cover a mixture of  moods and melodies from sincere emotions to tongue in cheek observations of this mad planet we share. (and growing madder by the day). 

 If I have one ambition it's to have a song or two published and recorded professionally by an established artist or two. 

 You are welcome to contact me with comments and feedback. (Advice on recording techniques is always welcome as I am a novice in this area)
